# California Secretary of State Apostille

Apostilles for California documents by mail or in person.

The California Secretary of State attaches apostilles to documents signed by California public officials. Mail requests go to Sacramento. In-person same-day service is at the Sacramento and Los Angeles offices, with a cover letter naming the destination country.
